Common heat treatment processes of ss 430 plates and foil:
- Annealing
- Temperature: 760-815°C
- Process: Heat the material uniformly, then cool slowly in the air. This relieves internal stresses and improves ductility.
- Stress Relieving
- Temperature: 200-300°C
- Process: Heat to the specified temperature and hold for 1-2 hours. Cool in air. This reduces residual stress from cold working.
