- Annealing
- Temperature: 1010-1120°C (1850-2050°F)
- Process: Heat to the specified temperature, then cool quickly in the air or water.
- Quenching
- Not recommended.
- Reason: Quenching cannot harden 304 tubing and may cause distortion.
- Tempering
- Not applicable.
- Reason: Tempering has no effect because 304 tubing cannot be hardened by quenching.
