Product Detail
S350GD galvanized steel coil is made from low-carbon steel, offering high yield strength (350 MPa) and good ductility, making it ideal for applications that require both pressure and tension resistance. It typically undergoes a hot-dip galvanization for better corrosion resistance and is largely determined by the thickness and quality of the galvanized coating, often specified in grades like Z100 or Z275, which indicate the zinc coating weight (g per m²).
S350GD also offers excellent weldability and formability, making it suitable for stamping, bending, and other forming processes. For best performance, its surface should be smooth and free of defects, as imperfections can affect processing and strength.
The steel coil is commonly used in automotive bodies, roofing panels, wall materials, and appliance housings. In more corrosive environments, higher-grade galvanization or additional treatments may be necessary.
