S550GD galvanized steel coil is a high-strength hot-dip galvanized steel primarily composed of carbon, manganese, silicon, and other trace elements. It offers high tensile strength (around 550MPa) and good corrosion resistance.
The steel coil’s surface is coated with a zinc layer via hot-dip galvanizing, with zinc coatings typically ranging from Z100 to Z450g/m² depending on application requirements, ensuring optimal protection for various environments, including coastal and humid regions.
