- Normalizing, Quenching & Tempering: Not applicable for SS 309S Plate, Sheet, Coil, Strip, Pipe
- Solution Annealing: Solution annealing at 1050°C-1150°C followed by rapid cooling (water quenching).
- Stress Annealing: Not commonly used for SS 309S Plate, Sheet, Coil, Strip, Pipe, but if necessary can be performed at 300°C-500°C followed by air cooling.
- Bright Annealing: Bright annealing at 1050°C-1150°C with rapid cooling in a protective atmosphere.
- Stress Relieving: Stress relieving at 250°C-450°C followed by air cooling.
