- Annealing:
- Temperature: 1040-1150°C
- Process: Rapid cooling to soften the material, enhance ductility, and relieve internal stresses.
- Solution Treatment:
- Temperature: 1040-1150°C
- Process: Dissolves carbides and precipitates, restoring the austenitic structure, and improving corrosion resistance.
- Stress Relieving:
- Temperature: 200-400°C
- Process: Reduces residual stresses from welding or forming, improving dimensional stability.
- Quenching, Tempering, and Normalizing: These processes are not suitable for 310, 310S, and 310H due to their austenitic structure, which does not respond to these processes.
